While on my way to dinner somewhere along the border of Meatpacking/West Village, I stumbled into my new favorite coffee place in the city. Grounded Coffee is a small shop located on Jane street that feels like a greenhouse instantly when you walk in. The place is no stranger to small succulents or towering tropical leaves. It’s a much appreciated atmosphere in this concrete jungle.
Similar to another favorite coffee spot in the Lower East Side, the place is full of couches along with tables to make it feel like a warm inviting living room. They have a full food menu and some really interested options for coffee like the Mint Kiss Latte or the Sweet N’ Nutty Latte. I went for a classic cold brew due to the 90+ degrees outside but am already planning my next visit to try out the rest of the menu.
