Set Sail

The historic South Street Seaport District down somewhere between Two Bridges and Financial District has been renovated to include fun restaurants, stores and even a huge movie theater that you can dine out in. The buildings are gorgeous and hold true to the old revolutionary character that still persists in Lower Manhattan. Summer days spent on the cobblestone streets with a beer in hand at one of the open restaurants couldn’t be more perfect. Though my friend and I were hoping for sunnier weather, we stopped at the seaport for lunch and indulged in calamari and sliders.
